on the way to downtown Cairo the Egyptian Museum which is worth seeing for one thing ... ... Tutankhamun and his funeral mask (made of lots of gold) and his sarcophagus (made of even more gold) the pyramid of Cheops as you can see it most of the times: with tourists and buses all over the place
